 Shore2Shore: Deep Cove, North Vancouver, B.C.
One-day race: Saturday, June 3, 2006
We started from scratch this year and created a new shore2shore format out of Deep Cove. The concept is simple: paddle from Deep Cove to "another shore", run around and find check points on foot, get back in your boat and paddle back to Deep Cove, then do a loop on your bike on some of Mount Seymours best kept secret XC trails. There will be a short and a long course, a hearty salmon bbq dinner right at the finish line. It will be a self-sufficient format with no support team required. The entire race is staged right out of Deep Cove Park with beautiful views of Deep Cove, and a perfect place to spend a day. So check out the all new Shore2Shore! |

One of Western Canada's best-kept backcountry secrets boasts virtually unlimited peaks, rivers, ravines and trails. It's also a great destination for the whole family. While you race, your better half and kids can enjoy a water park, daycare, activities and great restaurants. The three-day stage race is July 7-9, but you're also welcome to give the one-day race a try on July 9.

It's brimming with French-Canadian culture and history and famous for eastern Canada's trademark crisp, blue skyline and rich tapestry of forests with endless lakes. It's even better in the summertime, which is why were holding the two-day stage race in late August. |

 Two-day, One Day Stage Race - Whistler, B.C.

Brand new format for 2006! We have changed the format to 2 point to point stages both finishing in Whistler Village. We thought that the 11th year should be really different and exciting. There is so much terrain that we have not explored in Whistler. The course will feature paddling on both days - scenic flat water river and lake paddling. One day will start in the north, and the other in the south, but that is all we can tell you at this time! This same format has been very successful at Panorama as family and friends can enjoy the village while you are out for hours racing. It is also much more convenient for everyone to have the finish line stay at the same place for the duration of the weekend in the heart of one of the most exciting mountain villages in the world. We have also added a one day race for those that want to give it a try for the first time, or for those that don't have the time for 2 days of racing.
